FEMA Mission Statement
"FEMA’s mission is to support our citizens and first responders to ensure that as a nation we work together to build, sustain and improve our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from and mitigate all hazards."
About 321 Survive:
While the mission of FEMA is noble and the staff sincere, do not make the mistake of assuming that they can or will take care of your family in an emergency. Each disaster is a learning opportunity for everyone including that agency. Do not make the mistake of failing to prepare on your own as though some how every individuals needs can possibly be met by responders. It is the intent of 321Survive to prepare you and your family to be self sufficent in any possible scenario. You need not be hungry, cold, or scared during any crisis but it's up to you to ensure it.
"
The National Preparedness Goal defines what it means for the whole community to be prepared for all types of disasters and emergencies. The goal itself is succinct:
“A secure and resilient nation with the capabilities required across the whole community to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from the threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk.”
